YOUR BIGGEST COMPETITOR MAY BE OBSCURITY
Your biggest competitor may never appear on your competitor list.
It's obscurity.
A great product that nobody knows about can lose to a weaker product that customers recognize. They cannot choose a solution they don't know exists.
Strategy 6 in my Built to Charge framework is Go-to-Market Domination.
The central idea: building your product and building your market presence are parallel battles. Both deserve deliberate strategy from day one.
Think bonfire.
You can gather excellent wood, stack it carefully, and build tremendous heat. But if the people you want to reach never see your fire, it does nothing to bring them closer.
Your product is the value you create. Market presence helps the right customers discover and understand that value.
Concentrate your fuel where those customers can see it. Give market presence an owner, time on the calendar, and a budget you can support. Review progress with the same seriousness you bring to product development.
Ask yourself: are customers rejecting my offer after understanding it, or have too few of the right people even encountered it?
Those problems require different responses.
TODAY'S MOVE: Put product progress and market presence beside each other on your plan. Name the specific customers you need to reach, assign an owner, and schedule one concrete action this week.
Build your bonfire where your market can see it.

ORGANIC POST TO ACCOMPANY LESSON 6
Does your market know you exist?
You can improve your product for months while the people who need it still have no idea you're there.
That is why Strategy 6 in my Built to Charge framework is Go-to-Market Domination.
Building your product and building your market presence are two parallel battles. Treat both as priorities from day one.
Think of a bonfire. Excellent fuel and tremendous heat won't bring people closer if they never see the fire.
Your job is to build real value AND deliberately make that value visible to the specific customers you serve.
That means giving market presence an owner, a place on the calendar, and a clear way to measure whether you're reaching those customers.
Watch today's lesson, then answer this:
Are customers choosing someone else—or have they never encountered your offer?
